  Staff at reception were a little humourless at check in, but otherwise a great stay, love Caliente and it was on our road trip route, rooms in the town are... read more limited but the Shady has spacious and clean accommodation. Train noise was no issue for us as it’s a novelty for Brit travellers. No problem with limited toiletries, we bring our own and it saves on single use plastics. They are available on request.
The small breakfast offerings were welcome but we avoided the drip coffee as there is a fabulous espresso cabin by the railroad crossing, much better for us.
Would definitely stay there again
